The FFRG4120SW is the gas version of the FFRE4120SW. Gas dryers use an igniter and gas valve coils to light the burner. If the igniter glows but no flame appears, the gas valve coils or supply are often involved.
If you smell gas, do not operate switches; leave the home and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Gas dryer burner repairs should be done by a qualified technician.
