Even so, frequent door openings in a busy kitchen bring in humidity that can frost the freezer. Occasional frost is normal; frost that keeps returning quickly suggests a defrost or sealing issue.
If the interior light fails, check that the door switch is being pressed and that the LED module has power. The light circuit is separate from cooling, so a dark interior does not necessarily mean the refrigerator has stopped working.
