What F1 Means
F1 on older Frigidaire ovens (wall ovens and range ovens from before the expanded two-digit controls arrived in the mid-2000s) with a single-digit F-code electronic oven control is documented in Frigidaire range and oven service literature as a control failure, with possible triggers including a shorted keypad, a corrupted internal checksum, a shorted relay or a bad oven probe. Frigidaire's current range guide lists F1 as a shorted keypad.

Turn the oven off and let it cool completely. Then switch off the oven breaker for 30 seconds and restore power. If F1 returns, book service.
