What F14 Means
F14 on Frigidaire ranges with the expanded two-digit oven control (introduced on freestanding ranges from the mid-2000s) is documented in Frigidaire range service literature as the display tail — the ribbon connector to the touch panel — missing or not connected.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the oven off and let it cool. Then switch off the range breaker (or unplug it if the cord is reachable without pulling the range out) for 30 seconds, as Frigidaire's guide recommends, and restore power. If F14 returns, book service; the ribbon connector is behind the control panel. On gas ranges, if you smell gas at any point, do not operate any controls — leave the home and call your gas utility.
