What EF2 Means
EF2 on Frigidaire front-load washers with a digital display means too much suds were detected, usually from too much or the wrong type of detergent.
Common Causes of EF2
- Too much detergent
- Non-HE detergent
- Soft water requiring less detergent
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Let the washer finish or pause the cycle, then run a Rinse & Spin with no detergent to clear suds. Going forward, use only HE detergent in the amount recommended for your load.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
