What F90-F94 Means
F90 through F94 on Frigidaire wall ovens with an electronic control are door lock errors. Frigidaire's guide advises pressing Unlock and following on-screen directions, then resetting power.
Common Causes of F90-F94
- Door lock motor failure
- Lock switch fault
- Wiring damage near the lock
- Control board fault
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Let the oven cool fully. Press Unlock and follow the on-screen unlock code directions. Then switch off the breaker for 30 seconds and restore power. Never pry the door. If the code or lock persists, book service.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The lock mechanism on wall ovens is above the oven cavity, behind trim that requires sliding the oven out.
- Forcing the door can damage hinges and the latch.
- Damage caused during a repair attempt may not be covered by your warranty — check your warranty terms first.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
