What F7 Means
F7 on older Frigidaire ovens (wall ovens and range ovens from before the expanded two-digit controls arrived in the mid-2000s) with a single-digit F-code electronic oven control is documented in Frigidaire service literature as the lock motor relay watchdog being active when it should not be — the control checked the door lock relay and it failed the test.

Let the oven cool completely, then switch off the breaker for 30 seconds and restore power. Do not run self-clean. If F7 returns, book service.

- Lock relay faults involve the self-clean locking system, which exists to keep the door shut at very high temperatures.
