The FFPA0822U1 is an older portable unit from the FFPA series. After several seasons, the most common problems are compressor start issues, worn fan motors and cracked plastic parts from being moved around.
If the tray-full indicator shows frequently in dry weather, the float or drain path may be sticking. Unplug the unit, drain it fully and restart it; if the indication continues, the sensor or float needs to be checked.
