What E47 Means
E47 on Frigidaire front-load washers with a digital display (including Affinity, Gallery and current front-load models) means the board sees the door PTC (lock) circuit as open during spin.
Common Causes of E47
- Door lock assembly failure
- Wiring fault in the door lock circuit
- Control board issue
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug for 5 minutes and restart. Make sure no clothing is caught in the door. If E47 recurs, book service.
