What E76 Means
E76 on Frigidaire front-load washers with temperature sensing is described by Appliance Aid as a malfunction of the temperature sensor associated with the cold water valve.
Common Causes of E76
- Faulty inlet temperature sensor
- Wiring or connector fault
- Control board fault
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the washer for 5 minutes. Check that the cold water faucet is open and the cold hose is on the cold inlet. Try again; if E76 persists, book service.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The inlet valve assembly connects to pressurized water and line voltage at the back of the washer.
